  • Use an SPF 30 or higher broad-spectrum sunscreen – and reapply often, especially after swimming and sweating.
  • Wear a hat, sunglasses, and cover up with as much as possible.
  • Stay in the shade and try to schedule your outdoor activities around the peak hours of 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
